Your content

When you record or upload a video, audio recording, written response, photo, or other content through VidFlock (“Content”), you keep any ownership rights you have in that Content.

By submitting Content, you give both:

  • the organization that invited you to participate (“Campaign Organization”), and

  • VidFlock

permission to use, copy, edit, shorten, caption, publish, display, distribute, and share your Content, including your name, image, likeness, voice, and statements.

The Campaign Organization may use your Content in its communications, websites, social media, advertising, fundraising, events, presentations, and other promotional or informational materials.

VidFlock may use your Content to operate the service and may also feature it in VidFlock advertising, marketing, demonstrations, portfolio materials, case studies, websites, social media, and sales materials.

These permissions are worldwide and royalty-free. Unless separately agreed in writing, you will not be paid for these uses.

Editing

Your Content may be edited for length, clarity, formatting, captions, audio quality, graphics, or presentation, and may be combined with other submissions.

VidFlock and the Campaign Organization will not intentionally edit your Content in a way that materially misrepresents what you said.

You do not have a right to approve the final edited version before it is used.

Public sharing

Your Content may be posted publicly.

Once Content has been publicly shared, third parties may copy, repost, download, or distribute it. VidFlock cannot guarantee that every copy can later be removed.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to submit Content that:

  • you do not have the right to submit;

  • violates another person's copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights;

  • contains unlawful, threatening, or seriously harmful material;

  • contains another person's confidential information without permission; or

  • contains highly sensitive information such as passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or medical records unless specifically requested through an approved process.

VidFlock may remove or refuse Content that violates these Terms or creates legal, security, or safety concerns.

Age requirement

VidFlock is intended for people age 18 and older unless a campaign has an approved parent or guardian consent process.

Privacy and data processing

VidFlock processes information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Video and audio recordings naturally contain your face and voice. If VidFlock ever uses technology that requires separate biometric consent under applicable law, we will provide that notice and consent process separately.

Removing your content

You may contact privacy@vidflock.com to request deletion of Content held by VidFlock.

A deletion request may not remove copies already provided to the Campaign Organization, publicly distributed, downloaded by others, or retained where required by law.

Service and liability

VidFlock is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect transcription, or error-free automated processing.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, VidFlock is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service or from third-party use of Content after it has been properly distributed.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
